Add-on to the survival horror hit

Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass is a premium utility that adds new content, fixes, and collectibles to the hit survival horror game from Dambuster Studios, Dead Island 2. As the first major story expansion, this offers an entirely new map and storyline on top of extra missions and weapons. Aside from a new weapon and character pack, this contains the Haus expansion.

The volume of content that comes with the Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass makes it worth every penny. However, this DLC is only available as an Epic Games Store exclusive, much like the base game.

Access a lot of new content

The main offering of the Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass is the Haus story expansion. As a major story expansion, it is set in a mansion complex owned by a tech billionaire. The pass also contains another story chapter with the SOLA Festival, where people are invited to a party that’s supposedly for the environment. These stories add new elements to the game’s zombie-infested world-building.

Beyond the new stories added, there’s also a host of content for players looking just to explore the map. The pack offers the exclusive Gaelic Queen Dani Character Pack, which overhauls Dani’s look to that of a Modern Medb, or Maeve—the Gaelic queen. There are other costumes from the HELL-A Catwalk Collection included. Lastly, you get the Brainzz-Biter, a two-handed maiming weapon that any slayer can use.

Of course, in line with its base game, expect mature content to be present, which makes it not suitable to players of all ages. Aside from the presence of blood and gore, the new stories also deal with mature themes. This expansion pack is only available through the Epic Games Store, which makes sense because the base game is also exclusive to the online digital distribution platform.

A massive update for DI2

For enjoyers of Dead Island 2, the massive volume of content available from Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass makes it a definite must-have. You get two new campaigns, each having a fully fleshed-out story that stands alone yet contributes to the franchise’s world-building. There are also a couple of character skins included, plus new weapons and skills. Of course, it retains the mature content expected from this series. Recommended.

    • Two new story chapters
    • Exclusive character pack

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
